The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), Article 31, recognizes

'the right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.'

After another amazing tour of the West Bank, Israel and Cairo in spring 2009...

Circus 2 Iraq are currently re-grouping, and getting ready for some new projects coming up soon. We are doing some serious fund raising missions, and are planning a trip to Gaza, as well as possible returns to the West Bank and Iraq.
As ever, we are on the look out for fund raising assistance, people to clown, and also kit that you can donate.
